Duosystem´s Solutions

Duosystem’s platform is a pioneer in providing a medical priority dispatch system, whereby it is possible to order and qualify the service flows by focusing on the optimal use of the resources available.

It is structured around four different areas of care (Pre-Hospital, Urgent Care, Outpatient, and Beds), which can be parameterized according to priority-dispatch protocols and operating guidelines.

The solution applies a hierarchy- and region-based model to organize the reference and counter-reference centers, thus ensuring universal access, thorough patient care, and equality in the management of services with full process transparency.

All the information is recorded in order to allow monitoring situational indicators and management reports on monitoring panels according to the needs of each client.

Today the platform is used by the priority-dispatch centers in the states of Sao Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Goias.

These are the main features:

  • Registration, update, and monitoring of resources
  • Support for the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) referral decision

– Mapping of service infrastructures

– Inputs for planning equipment acquisitions, hiring human resources, and planning service expansion

– Improved care-resolution rate by integrating all the health-care system with the urgent care

  • Referral of transfer requests between hospitals based on clinical protocols
  • Risk classification
  • Real-time interaction between health centers and the priority-dispatch center
  • Flagging and prioritization of court requests
  • Match between health-care needs and the supply of services
  • Referral depending on how complex the case is and the resources needed
  • Post-dispatch follow-up

– Optimized response time between the call and making the care resources needed available

– Quick referral, hence preserving the patient’s health condition

– Raised visibility of the health system with the configuration of the reference grids

  • Referral of requests for elective hospitalization or urgent care based on clinical protocols
  • Real-time interaction between health centers and the priority-dispatch center
  • Hospital admission authorization (AIH) with or without the issuance of a number series
  • Flagging and prioritization of court requests
